Honey Scented Black Tea presents a red liquor with red leaves, appearing dark and lustrous. Upon brewing, it releases a sweet floral or honey aroma. The English and Russian names for black tea are simply "Black Tea." This is because black tea undergoes fermentation, which significantly breaks down chlorophyll, transforming most of it into dark brown substances. Additionally, a compound in tea leaves called tea polyphenols oxidizes, also producing brown compounds. Organic matter such as sugars, pectin, and proteins in the tea leaves adhere to the leaf surface, giving them a dark brown or blackish hue after drying. We use our own organically grown tea leaves, offering a natural sweetness without any added ingredients.
