The refreshing fizz from glass-bottled sodas commonly found in neighborhood stores in HK back in the 1960’s to 1990’s witnessed numerous Hongkongers’ childhood, and is where this Pop Art style design took inspiration from – the sweet memory when sipping an icy cold soda at your street corner store was the highlight of a child’s day. Even to this day, most people still insist that bottled sodas taste more ‘authentic’ than canned sodas, maybe because it brings back sweet memories of yesteryear!
