🔹 Inca Palo Santo Coarse Powder (Sawdust)
Derived from the powder shed during the sawing process by our Peruvian suppliers, this powder is rich in essential oils and boasts a deep, robust aroma.
👉 Characteristics: High oil content, prone to clumping, burns slower but yields the most mellow aroma.
🔹 Inca Palo Santo Fine Powder (Seasonal Item)
Crafted from leftover wood shavings used in making imported wooden crafts, then finely ground by us.
👉 Characteristics: Delicate powder, easy to ignite, suitable for incense cones, soap making, incense towers, and stick incense.
Both powders are 100% pure Palo Santo powder imported from Peru, never secondary products that have had their oils extracted and then dried.
Fine powder: This is fine powder made from the remnants of our craft production. It is not a regularly stocked item. Fine powder is primarily used for making incense cones.
📢 About Palo Santo Powder
Recently, many customers have inquired: "Are these two types of Palo Santo powder free of oil extraction?"
We will address this here collectively:
✅ Sawdust (Coarse Powder)
This is the powder that falls from the wood during the sawing process by our Peruvian suppliers. It is naturally rich in essential oils and, of course, is completely free of oil extraction.
✅ Fine Powder
This is made by directly grinding the leftover wood from craft production into fine powder. It is not a byproduct of essential oil extraction, thus it is also completely free of oil extraction.
👉 As Peru primarily exports coarse powder, the fine powder is processed and ground by us in Taiwan, making its availability relatively limited.
Both types of powder burn exceptionally well:
Coarse powder has a rich and deep aroma. I use it daily myself; a single ignition allows it to burn completely.
Fine powder has a delicate texture, convenient for incense cones or soap making, and also burns very well.
🔥 The Palo Santo powder sold in this store is authentic, imported Inca Palo Santo powder from Peru, with guaranteed quality. (Some individuals in Taiwan mistakenly identify it as sandalwood or agarwood powder, hence the specific mention in the title.)

✨ Inca Palo Santo Powder ✨ A Sacred Gift from the South American Continent 🌿🔥
For thousands of years, indigenous peoples of the Americas used "Palo Santo" in shamanic rituals.
To them, it was not merely wood, but a sacred presence that could purify spaces, connect with the spirit, and bring peace to the body and mind.
In Peru and Ecuador, Palo Santo is considered a national treasure, revered for its rarity and adherence to nature's cycles:
🌱 It takes 80-90 years to grow.
🍂 After its natural death, it must lie dormant for another 4-10 years to complete its transformation.
✨ Only then does it release its fullest energy and healing power.
Even today, shamans and healers of the Andes mountains consider Palo Santo an indispensable spiritual companion in their rituals.

- Listing Summary
- Palo Santo, revered as "sacred wood" by indigenous peoples of the Americas for millennia, played a significant role in shamanic rituals. For these communities, Palo Santo held profound meaning: lesser quality wood was burned in ceremonies for purification of space, body, mind, and spirit, and to connect with the divine. Medium-grade wood was used for crafting ceremonial staffs, while the highest quality was deemed too sacred to harvest and was instead offered in worship to the gods.
