Soviet pocket watch Molnija 3602 - wind up mechanic retro mens watch USSR - Men's & Unisex Watches - Other Materials

Product Description

MECHANIC POCKET WATCH WITH MECHANISM 3602 Caliber 36 mm, height 4.6 mm, off-center second hand,18 jewels. Single-winding run-down time - 38 h. Mean daily variation from -15 to +40 s. Beige 39 mm dial. Arabian figures. Blue-steel hands. Black print. Weight of the watch 60 g. Good working condition. Correct watch exploitation: to prolong the life of the watch it is necessary to wind up the watch every day at about the same time. You should rotate the watch button to the end but very gently (!!), until the process will go tight, so as not to twist it. The history of the Molnija watch factory has been accepted since 1947. But this is only partially true. It is more correct to consider this year as the year of the organization of watchmaking in Chelyabinsk and, accordingly, the appearance of a new industry in the capital of the Southern Urals – watchmaking. The history of the factory itself and the watches it produces, in fact, is much longer and has its roots in the USA and Switzerland. The Chelyabinsk Watch Factory, which appeared in 1947 in the Southern Urals, was created on the basis of the Dueber-Hampden Watch Company (1877), bought "turnkey" by Stalin's decision in 1929 in the United States.
