In Traditional Chinese character, "錶" means watch, it has a gold radical, denoting its metal mechanic origin. We replace the gold radical to wood, creating our brand name **木表**. We specialize in up-cycling wood, such as teak wood flooring, old ebony furniture, scrap wood plank from factory, and locally sourced dead wood / fallen trees. Once the reclaimed wood is treated we re-cut and polish it into watch case, straps and whatnot. __Course content:__ - Explanation of wristwatch structure - Overview of up-cycling, treatments involved to turn wood products into new watches - Customize and assemble a personalized wood watch under the guidance of our instructor (the up-cycled wooden case, strap, inner ring and even the watch dial of each watch are selected by the student.
