These pochi-bukuro were created by repurposing leftover materials
from our "2016 Calendar: Assortment of Patterns" (calendar).
Finished size is 62mm x 100mm.
Set includes 7 envelopes: 6 designs x 1 piece each + 1 extra.
Sized to fit folded bills.
Beyond money, you can also place messages or small trinkets inside.
Printed using stencil printing (Risograph),
achieving a slightly retro finish.
The paper is pure white paper with a textured front and smooth back (Kraft paper).
Pine, Bamboo, and Plum (Auspicious symbols)
Tails and Heads of Sea Bream
Beckoning Cat
Treasure Ship
Facing Rabbit
Assortment of Treasures
Bonus... Crane and Turtle (Symbols of longevity)
Please note that slight misalignments or fading in the printing are intentional
and part of the design.
Misalignments may be more pronounced in multi-color printed areas.
We hope you enjoy this unique character.
As semi-water-soluble ink is used,
colors may transfer if rubbed strongly. Please be aware.
As these are handmade,
pattern placement and size may vary slightly.
