Hermle German Vintage Dome Torsion Pendulum Clock

A vintage domed pendulum clock from Hermle, Germany, protected by a glass dome, with a very elegant pattern carved on the clock, and Roman numerals as a timepiece. The clock has been tested and still works well and maintains accurate time. The bottom has rounded feet, which need to be adjusted to maintain the clock balance and ensure that the torsion swing can run smoothly. Battery can be changed on the back with one AA battery. The pendulum clock was first made around 1880 and is also known as the anniversary clock or 400-day clock, many can run for an entire year on a single winding. This style of clock is a mechanical clock, which keeps time with a mechanism called a torsion pendulum.
