Japanese Square Glass Dish - Hanagasumi Cherry Blossom Marble Pattern - Small Plates & Saucers - Glass Pink

Product Description

Glass Fusing is a technique where various glass materials—such as sheets, frits, and powders—are combined and fired in an electric kiln. Fired at temperatures up to 800°C, these glass works are glossy and beautiful, allowing you to enjoy the transparency and colors unique to glass. The infinite combinations of patterns and colors make this a truly inspiring craft. This square small dish was created using this fusing technique. By gently mixing various shades of pink and white glass powders, we drew a marble-like pattern on a clear glass plate. The imagery is based on Somei Yoshino and Yaezakura cherry blossoms, capturing the colors of pink spring flowers dancing in the wind or floating on water. Ideal for serving Japanese sweets like Yokan or Nerikiri with tea. Perfect for presenting chocolate or cookies alongside coffee. It also functions beautifully as an accessory tray. A versatile piece for various occasions. Please note this is not heat-resistant glass; avoid boiling water and sudden temperature changes. We hope you enjoy the layers of color, transparency, and texture woven by glass. *Size: 10.6cm square *Height: 1.5cm *Thickness: 4mm *Weight: 110g ーーーーー *Notes for Ordering* - Please handle with care; strong impacts may cause breakage. - Not heat-resistant glass.
