**How to Brew Biluochun Tea Bags**
《Hot Brew》
Hot brewing allows you to fully enjoy the tea's fragrance and sweetness, experiencing its depth of flavor. The brewing temperature should be adjusted according to the tea's fermentation level to create a rich, layered taste that showcases the unique floral, fruity, or honey notes of each tea.
◎ Brewing Method:
1. For a single tea bag, use 150-200 ml of water for hot brewing. Green tea is best brewed at around 70-80°C. It is recommended to preheat the cup by pouring some boiling water into it, swirling it around, and then discarding the water.
2. Pour hot water first, then add the tea bag. This prevents the water stream from crushing the leaves and ensures the tea leaves have enough space to unfurl within the bag. Gently agitate the tea bag a few times, then let it steep for 3-5 minutes with the lid on for better flavor.
3. Remove and lift the tea bag, slowly swirling it once in the cup, then let it drain naturally. Avoid squeezing the tea bag to prevent bitterness. Adjust the concentration by observing the tea liquor's color according to your preference. It can be re-steeped 1-3 times, offering convenience and economy.
__The longer the steeping time, the more caffeine and tannins are released. To avoid overly strong tea, it is recommended to have a small saucer ready to place the tea bag on after brewing.__
《Cold Brew》
Cold brewing allows the tea to develop a clear sweetness without bitterness. It utilizes a longer steeping time for the sweet components to release slowly. Compared to hot-brewed tea, cold brew releases less caffeine, making it safe even for those sensitive to caffeine.
◎ Brewing Method:
1. The ratio for cold brew is approximately 1 gram of tea to 100 ml of water.
2. Choose a water bottle of appropriate size, add 1 to 2 tea bags, and pour in 300 to 400 ml of room temperature water.
__Store in the refrigerator. The container for cold brew must have a lid to prevent the tea from absorbing odors from other food items in the refrigerator. After 6-8 hours of steeping, your refreshing and sweet cold brew tea will be ready!__
