The number of sheets of thin paper (for a mini system notebook) that could be held onto a vertically hung whiteboard in a draft-free room for over 30 minutes was measured. * Button magnet (3 cm diameter): 20 sheets * Short boots (single): 18 sheets * Short boots (pair): 18 sheets While not quite reaching the strength of familiar button magnets, we believe the magnetic force is more than sufficient for use in offices or homes. To my surprise, the number of sheets held was the same whether using one shoe or a pair. Thickness appears to have a greater impact on magnetic force than the weight of the object being held. [What is Tochigi Leather?] With pores and lines (traces of blood vessels) that tell the story of its life, it carries a faint, toasty aroma when brought close to the nose. "Tochigi Leather," which conveys the natural charm of cowhide, is cowhide tanned from "hide" to "leather" by Tochigi Leather Co., Ltd. (Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture). This is vegetable-tanned saddle leather, tanned using tannins extracted from mimosa bark, without harmful chemicals. It's the finest cowhide, meticulously processed through 20 steps passed down since the company's founding in 1937.
