This time, we have collaborated with VEGEA, an Italian biomaterial manufacturer, to create a new vegan leather strap made from grape material for our bestselling SBB Classic series. We utilize the byproducts from the Italian wine-making process, such as grape skins, stems, and seeds, transforming them through a unique manufacturing process into a material that resembles animal leather, which is then crafted into watch straps. It is not only completely animal-free but also free from chemical solvents, heavy metals, and other harmful substances. Furthermore, after rigorous testing, this grape leather strap demonstrates comparable softness, durability, and aesthetic appeal to traditional leather straps, and it does not cause any skin allergies. This form of upcycling—transforming useless byproducts from the manufacturing process into new materials or even products—does not necessarily make the product more expensive. A brand that offers an accessible, timelessly stylish accessory while embodying progressive values of environmental sustainability and cruelty-free practices is what we truly aspire to be. This series is available in three different case diameters: 30mm, 36mm, and 40mm. The unisex design features a classic white dial paired with a slim, flat stainless steel case.
