【Jin Yuan Xing】Blue and White Slipper Ceramic Non-Slip Trivet | Heat Insulation Pad | Anti-Slip Mat | Round Trivet | Gift

"Authentic Taiwanese Flavor." What represents authentic Taiwanese flavor? "Blue and White Slippers" are definitely a top three choice for most Taiwanese. Tracing back to history, it began in the 1950s when the government relocated to Taiwan. At that time, people's living standards were not high. Besides wearing straw sandals or cloth shoes for work, most people went barefoot in daily life, which was neither safe nor elegant. Thus, the Ministry of National Defense instructed the 304 Factory of the Combined Logistics Command, which produced military boots, to develop lightweight slippers that could be mass-produced. They adopted the national emblem's blue and white color scheme, giving rise to the prototype of the slipper. With the subsequent development of the plastics industry, it gradually evolved into the classic blue and white slipper we see today. ___ Non-slip design on the back / Suitable for all types of vessels / Designed, produced, and manufactured in Taiwan ___ Material: Ceramic, Non-slip pad (rubber or cork) Size: Diameter 16cm Origin: Taiwan *This product is ceramic, and may have pores or textures from the firing process on the surface.
