KODAK PRO-STAR 222 35mm FILM CAMERA with FLASH & MOTOR-DRIVE POINT-AND-SHOOT! EASY LOAD! BUILT-IN FLASH! ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) KODAK point & shoot cameras were very popular in the World in 1980s-2000s. Those cameras were introduced at x-USSR when first mini-labs and good color negative films were imported. Stores at those mini-labs offered most simple and inexpensive compact cameras. However other camera manufacturers produced similar cameras this time. ITEM'S CONDITION: WELL-USABLE, TESTED, WORKING The camera was used before, just examine item's photos, please. The lens still enough clean to bring nice images, without scratches and fungus, battery compartment is free free oxides, when I loaded batteries the flash worked properly. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Brand: Kodak. * Model: Kodak Pro-Star 222. * Frame size 24x36mm. * Central shutter provide only speed around 1/125. * The flash unit is built-in, it has around 10 guide number for 100 ASA, it provides taking pictures in 1-3m limits. * Flash is not "auto-flash", you should move a special switch to use it. * Power source: two AA size alkaline batteries (used for flash only). * Lens: simple monocle, wide-angle. * Aperture looks around 8-11, it provides acceptable sharpness for such fix-focus lens. * Film speeds: 100 or 200 ASA are recommended. * Light metering is absent, no any aperture and shutter speed adjustment. It is enough for modern negative films at day light conditions. * Focusing is fixed (focus free). * Film winding is automatical. * Film rewinding with special key, auto-off when the film comes back to the cassette. * The camera was made at Thailand in 1990s.
