Ming Ya Kiln | Serene Snow Yellow Green Handle Cup Glazed Handmade Ceramic Cup Coffee Cup Gift Box H12 - Mugs - Pottery Yellow

Product Description

BARDUR Ceramics | Gift Box Collection Launch Capturing the essence of time with the warmth of handmade artistry. Each tea bowl is fired individually by artisans, with textures like stardust falling – no two are exactly alike. The design, featuring a soft satin lining and a square gift box, adds an elegant touch to the ceramic's tactile quality. This gifting season, choose a present filled with warmth, letting the feel of the piece become part of your sentiment. 🫖 The BARDUR Gift Box Collection is now officially available. About Wood Firing 'Wood firing' is a traditional kiln method, reaching temperatures above 1200 degrees Celsius using wood fuel. It leaves natural 'fire marks' from the wood directly on the piece, and ash that falls during combustion creates warm, rich, and varied colors that electric or gas kilns cannot achieve. Compared to standard electric and gas kilns, the entire wood-firing process—from stacking the kiln, ignition, sealing, to cooling—takes approximately 8-10 days. Furthermore, the intense kiln pressure, along with factors like humidity, wood dryness, the speed of stoking, and kiln placement, can significantly impact the success of a piece, leading to a higher breakage rate. Experienced wood-firing artisans meticulously plan the kiln's airflow, considering the placement of pieces of different sizes, estimating the flame path, controlling the stoking of wood and charcoal, and managing the firing temperature. Every step demands complete focus to achieve a perfect wood-fired piece. Origin: Hualien, Taiwan Notes 1. Each piece is handcrafted; textures and colors may vary. Colors may also differ on computer displays. 2. Surface irregularities, micro-bubbles, variations in glaze thickness, and crackled textures are normal characteristics of handmade items and not defects. 3. Each piece is stamped with the Ming Ya Kiln seal or hand-carved by the artist (Mr. Cai Rong-Zong, Ms. Zhong Xuan-Hui). 4. Before first use, please wash with a sponge, mild detergent, and water. Do not heat directly over an open flame, and avoid extreme temperature changes. Suitable for microwave, oven, and electric cooker use. 5. All items are photographed in kind.
