We have depicted the invisible "new moon" that occurs when the moon and sun overlap. A faintly glowing moon in the blue night sky, with a deer looking up at the moon in the background. The uneven dyeing is inspired by the image of a moon veiled in clouds. After indigo dyeing, we use stencils to create characters and patterns through a technique called "bassen," which removes color. The production process involves indigo dyeing → bassen → uneven dyeing with indigo. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about uneven dyeing.
