The snow monster is made by mountain women using 100% wool. We love and appreciate the different characteristics of natural fibers because recycled resources are of special significance to us. We use mostly hemp fiber from the Himalayas, bark fiber and wool from New Zealand. Dyes are mineral dyes extracted from roots, barks, nuts, leaves, flowers and plants, all of which are natural beauties bestowed by the earth. Opportunities and connections for cross-border cooperation: Nepal has a long history of craftsmanship, and travelers from all over the world have highly praised the local arts and crafts and the skills of the craftsmen. However, traditional crafts have been widely forgotten as they do not fit into the modern economic model. Therefore, we work with artisans in Nepal to realize Perch's design concept by supporting local communities, encouraging traditional craft techniques, providing reasonable wages, and combining them with fair trade both locally and overseas. This is why we are still motivated to continue to do better, and everyone who consumes can participate in this wonderful journey.
