Necklace with Old Himachali Silver, Naga Clear Beads, Bohemian Beads, and Wine Red, Blue, and Indigo Blue Beads

This necklace is crafted by connecting old Himachali silver, Naga clear beads, Bohemian beads, wine red, blue, and indigo blue beads, among others. The old Himachali silver, adorned with floral-like patterns, hails from the Himachal Pradesh state in the northwesternmost part of India. This is old silver, approximately over 100 years in age, likely once paired with turquoise and coral. It has a hollow interior, making it surprisingly lightweight. (Dimensions of old Himachali silver: 1.8cm wide, 1.3cm high, 0.7cm thick) The slightly larger clear beads are from the Naga people, believed to be from around 1950. These small beads possess a unique charm with their somewhat random grooves. While they bear minor scratches from age, these only enhance their character and overall aesthetic! Their subtly sepia-toned hue is also quite captivating, and they display a charming asymmetry. The origins of Indopacific beads are traced back to the 2nd century BC. These particular beads are archaeological finds from Indonesia, astonishingly dating back to around the 10th century – over 1000 years old! The golden beads are old Orissa brass, rare and ancient beads sourced from the Orissa state of India. The clasp charm is also an old brass component, originating from India. The slightly bent clasp and the beads on the ring portion are Karen silver. Each tiny Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually stamped!
