Generously infused with oil during the tanning process, the leather will gradually develop a sheen as the oil settles with use, showcasing its natural aging process. Horsehide, with its thick and long fibers, offers a unique suppleness and durability not found in other leathers. Its smooth, almost clinging texture, combined with its strength even when thinly sliced, meets all the essential criteria for the KAMIBUKURO design.
