For makeup stains, gently wipe with a makeup remover first to lift some of the stain, then wash with detergent. (Do not use bleach.) If machine washing, please place the headband in a laundry bag. As this is pure cotton fabric, it "wrinkles easily." After spinning or wringing, be sure to "shake out, flatten, and air dry." (Avoid direct sunlight, as it can be harsh on cotton fibers.) * If the fabric is very wrinkled, you can place a thin piece of cotton fabric over the headband and iron it flat with a 100°C (212°F) iron.
