This chawan was made on the potter's wheel in Taiwan. I used Japanese porcelain clay.
A special feature of this teabowl is the fish. Taiwan being an island has a good relatioship and respect for fish. I wanted him to look quite angry. It is an angry fish teabowl. It was fun to make.
The bowl was fired in oxidation to 1260 degrees and is dishwasher and microwave safe.
