Unlike the herbal mulberry teas found in traditional Chinese medicine shops, which were simply dried and then boiled, resulting in a bitter taste, [Jue Tea] has developed a superior process. To create a delicious, caffeine-free mulberry leaf tea, we insist on using pesticide-free, wild-grown mulberry leaves.
Through extensive research and development, collaborating with the Tea Research and Extension Station and National Taitung University, we have refined our tea-making process. Drawing inspiration from tea-making techniques in Taiwan and Japan, we conducted numerous experiments to determine the optimal temperature and methods. This process effectively removes any grassy notes while preserving the nutritional benefits of the mulberry leaves, resulting in a tea that offers a sweet aftertaste and a rich, fragrant aroma reminiscent of sun-dried, roasted leaves.
The production of this tea requires significant manpower. [Jue Tea] has specifically hired local grandmothers and aunties to participate in community agriculture, creating local employment opportunities.
