Shoulder Leather Pouch - Leather Goods - Genuine Leather

Workshop Description

**Shoulder Leather Pouch** Step 1. There are two pieces in the package; a smaller one and a larger one. Match the pre-punched stitch holes on these two pieces. Remember, we will inside-out the bag when the stitching is done, so please make sure the inside is turned outside before stitching. You may use some foldback clips to fasten the two pieces of leather while stitching. Step 2. Watch the video and follow the step by step method to thread the two needles. Then using the saddle stitch method to hand-stitch the two pieces, which is one of the most ancient and sturdiest stitching methods human’s ever used. Our video shows how the procedures are done. Step 3. It takes approximately 20-50 minutes to finish the stitching depending on the proficiency. It takes patience but it is one of the best parts of hand-crafting. Step 4. Let’s inside-out the bag. This might also take some skill and patience. But when it is done, you’ve completed the difficult procedures. The rest is relatively easy to do. Step 5. Take the deerskin lace (shorter and thinner one) and pass through the hole in the bag body and tie a knot inside the bag. Pull the lace from outside to check if the lace can be pulled out. Then take the bead(s) and let the end of the deerskin lace pass through the hole on the bead(s). Tie a knot at the end to keep the bead(s) from falling apart. Step 6. Take the cowhide lace (longer and round one) and pass each end through the two eyelets at the back of the bag body. You may adjust the length of the lace by tying the knot at the place you prefer.
