Product Description

👹 "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts" - Part 4️⃣ 👹 0️⃣ 1️⃣ 3️⃣ 🐲 Blue Sky Rainbow Dragon 🐲 👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻 ✅ 1 Original Sticker ✅ 📐 Size: 48mm × 48mm 📐 🌟 Specification: Silver Laser Sparkle Sticker 🌟 📩 Packaging: Comes with a transparent plastic sleeve 📩 👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻 https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51740409865_8d246be845_b.jpg WE ARE THE PIGSTM's inaugural project is "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts" (referred to as "Ghost Tales"). As Hong Kong lyricist Lin Xi once said, "The existence of ghost stories is what makes Hong Kong precious." The emergence of local ghost legends often reflects the social conditions, prevailing atmosphere, and unique historical context of the time, making them worthy of record and preservation. We hope to explore Hong Kong's century-long history, culture, and identity by compiling a collection of its folk ghost legends. "Ghost Tales" uses candy toy stickers (食玩, shokugan) as a medium to interpret Hong Kong's ghost stories. This type of candy toy sticker first appeared in 1977, included with Japanese snack packaging. They are typically 4.8 x 4.8cm and commonly known as "chocolate cookie stickers," "candy toy stickers," or "biscuit stickers." In the 80s and 90s, Hong Kong was influenced by Japanese pop culture, and these "candy toy stickers" are a collective childhood memory for many Hongkongers. We have systematically compiled 100 ghost stories and combined them with candy toy stickers to create a new media format, visually documenting a "Compendium of Yokai" that belongs to Hongkongers. The project will release 100 candy toy stickers themed around Hong Kong's ghost legends. For each story, we have created a unique yokai character and a brief introduction. The stickers feature special printing effects such as laser sparkle, hot stamping, and silver foil to enhance the collectibility of "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts." The "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts" sticker series collects stories of a hundred local ghosts, with original illustrations and text vividly interpreting mysterious events. Part 4 includes "Blue Sky Rainbow Dragon," "Mother and Son of Mud in Sau Mau Ping," "Faceless Ghost of Wah Fu Estate," and "Headless Ghost of Tai Wun Tong." https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51739754478_faf1bc6590_b.jpg
