◆ Each piece is purely handmade, with slight measurement errors. Please consider carefully if precise dimensions are crucial.
◆ Due to variations in glazing techniques and firing temperatures, each ceramic piece possesses unique textures, lines, spots, and crackle patterns. Therefore, even within the same series, no two items are exactly alike.
◆ The crackles in ceramic products are formed during firing. Combined with the natural porous nature of the clay, if frequently used for dark teas, the tea's color will naturally seep into the cracks, deepening the original patterns and creating a unique work. If you prefer to avoid this aging process, for light-colored pieces or before first use, we recommend heating the bowl in rice water over low heat for 20-30 minutes. This allows the starch to fill the pores, potentially reducing staining.
◆ You may notice small white spots on the bottom of the ceramic pieces. This is clay used to support the base during firing; it adheres to the bottom when removed from the mold. Product photos show the item in its original state. The white clay on the base will be slightly ground down before formal shipping. If you are very particular about details, please contact us for confirmation before placing your order!
