Product Description

This filter mug's design allows you to enjoy a perfect cup of tea without a teapot or complicated steps – all with just "one cup." 🌟 Just the Right Capacity: With a generous 450cc volume, it satisfies your craving for a warm cup of tea. 🌟 Detachable Filter: The thoughtfully designed filter has the perfect hole size, allowing hot water to deeply infuse the tea leaves, enabling them to fully unfurl and release their aroma. 🌟 Two Birds, One Stone: Enjoy it your way! When the filter is removed, it becomes a comfortable mug for simply drinking water. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”- Brewing tea has never been this simple! The entire process is clean and efficient, filling your space with the aroma of tea. 1. Tea Leaves In: Place your favorite tea leaves (whether in a tea bag or loose leaf) into the filter within the mug. 2. Slow Pour of Hot Water: Gently pour hot water into the mug, allowing the tea leaves to fully expand within the filter and release their rich fragrance. 3. Lift the Filter: Once the tea reaches your desired strength, gently lift out the filter. The tea leaves will be neatly contained within, leaving only a clear and warm infusion in your mug. Diameter: 9cm Height: 14cm Capacity: Approx. 450cc β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”- In the 2023 5th Shanghai International Wood-Fired Ceramics Competition, both artists from Xiao Ping Fan Pottery Studio, Chen Shiping and Wang Yufan, had their works selected for the Excellence Award. Each creation possesses a unique concept and design, imbuing the pure hand-pinching or wheel-throwing process with life. Every piece is one-of-a-kind. Our studio's works are created by us as a couple, hence the signatures "Ping" or "Fan," and some pieces bear the "Xiao Ping Fan Pottery Studio" seal – truly unique! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567264550_68d52fdae8_b.jpg **1. What is the origin of your works?** We primarily use American clay, Japanese clay, and Taiwanese Miaoli clay for our creations. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567015014_0b15931da0_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51565549942_7663197885_h.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567015039_4c2a9b80e3_c.jpg **2. What is the wood-firing process?** American clay, Japanese clay, and Miaoli clay are mixed in different proportions. The creation process involves pure hand-pinching (not a pottery wheel) to slowly form the shape. After basic shaping, the body lines are refined, followed by polishing to complete the greenware. Once placed in the kiln, it undergoes a continuous five-day, four-night wood-firing process using natural longan and acacia wood. The temperature reaches over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash deposits adhere to the works, forming a special ash glaze. Simultaneously, the flame patterns within the kiln flow among the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple flame marks. After five days and four nights of ash and flame interplay, a week of cooling is required before a piece achieves its beautiful form! Because the kiln atmosphere differs with each wood-firing, the ash deposits and flame patterns on each piece are never the same, making every work unique! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567015104_1eec785177_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567264535_7bd0037e60_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51565533012_fdce6d65a3_h.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51566346721_2b98f539f8_c.jpg **3. What should esteemed guests be aware of?** Product colors may vary slightly due to photographic lighting. As the works are purely handmade, they will retain traces of the crafting process. Minor variations may also occur due to the firing process, such as slight imperfections in the rim or minor crafting scratches, which are considered normal. They are absolutely safe for normal use, so please understand! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51565533097_13ea71a377_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51565533012_219eca4133_c.jpg **4.
