Dream of Craftsmanship | Gold Award in the Premium Category | Dashu Millet Wine Glass

This series takes the giant trees located in Zhenxibao, Hsinchu County as the theme, integrates elements of local millet crops, and uses local glass craftsmanship in Hsinchu as the starting point to produce millet wine glasses in a series of four colors. Inspired by nature, I felt that the historic sacred trees nurtured and protected local residents and passed down the culture from generation to generation. The characteristic of the curled lips in the shape not only considers the function of corresponding lip shape, but also implies the image of the entwined tree roots, reminding people of their connection with the land. The compact size is suitable for carrying around, and customers usually buy pairs or more combinations due to usage habits. The collection of the entire set can reflect the image of the "giant trees". Due to the completely manual nature, the same method will cause inconsistencies in size and pattern, which exactly echoes the handicraft effect on trees. They are natural and have no identical characteristics, which is a unique pleasure.
