A: The Elephant Cuppa S is primarily made from 316 stainless steel and food-grade PP plastic, with a temperature range of 0°C to 110°C, making it suitable for hot beverages. However, it is important to note: Hot beverages generate steam, which can create internal pressure. If the pressure is too high, it may prevent the gasket from sealing properly, leading to leaks. Excessive internal pressure can also cause splashing when opening the lid or potentially damage the lid. Therefore, we recommend not using the straw lid with hot beverages to allow steam to escape. Alternatively, open the straw lid or tumbler lid for a period to release steam before closing them. * We also advise keeping the Elephant Cuppa S level and avoiding excessive shaking when filled with beverages above 60°C, as shaking can accelerate steam generation. Q: Can it be used in a microwave, oven, dish dryer, or dishwasher? A: The tumbler body is made of stainless steel with a vacuum insulation layer and cannot be used in microwaves, ovens, dish dryers, or dishwashers, as these appliances may damage the tumbler. The other parts (PP lid, PP straw, silicone gasket) are safe for dishwashers and dish dryers. Q: Why can't the second-generation lid be used with the Elephant Cuppa S? A: The Elephant Cuppa S has a higher threaded section on its mouth. The second-generation Ecozen lid, due to its height, may not fully cover this threaded area, potentially affecting the lid's seal and leading to leaks. While the third-generation lid has been adjusted for height, it can still be used with the Ecozen transparent tumbler.
