It is our closest friend, allowing us to shape it freely according to our will. With both parents being ceramic artists, it felt natural for me to grow up surrounded by clay in the studio. Many classical arts, such as calligraphy and the art of ink, are gradually being forgotten or overlooked by younger generations. These are precious cultural treasures unique to China. Our aesthetic education, from childhood, might be more inclined towards Western styles, favoring strong modern and fashionable shapes and colors. I am particularly drawn to the freedom of ink. Despite its limited palette of black and white, ink can express a myriad of emotions through variations in density, depth, and the dynamic flow of lines. By merging Chinese tea culture with the art of ink, I aim to attract young people to explore these traditions in a way they find appealing and beautiful, demonstrating that they can indeed be a stylish endeavor. While breakage may not be immediate, the piece could fracture during subsequent handling or use, so please exercise caution. When using tea ware, avoid rapid temperature changes between hot and cold water. Before the first use, clean the tea ware with water, then scald it with hot water, or sterilize and dry it in a standard dish dryer. Should any damage occur after use, please contact the seller for assistance with repairs or assessment.
