As a ceramic artist,
each pair of earrings is personally shaped and glazed by me,
then fired twice at a high temperature of 1230°C.
These earrings are a microcosm of my years of creation,
more than just an object,
they encapsulate technique, kiln firing, past accumulations, and present expression.
The clay comes from the earth of Taiwan,
the glaze is a product of the land.
In this urban environment,
they serve as a ritualistic connection to the earth,
allowing for spontaneous and personalized styling beyond convention,
reminding us of our innate childlike spirit.
