Ring size can be influenced by many factors, including finger shape, susceptibility to swelling, measurement method, season, and temperature. Even with tools, a perfect fit cannot always be guaranteed; slight looseness or tightness is common. As long as the ring doesn't fall off due to looseness or cause pain due to tightness, it is considered normal. 2. When using a ring sizer, aim for a comfortable fit that doesn't slip off. If a size 12 is too loose and an 11 is too tight, a size 11.5 might be suitable. Finger circumference is affected by thermal expansion and contraction; fingers are typically about half a size larger in summer than in winter. Consider this, ideally, the ring should feel slightly snug in summer and slightly loose in winter, or you can switch fingers depending on the season. __If you are prone to swelling, avoid measuring your ring size when your fingers are swollen__ to ensure accuracy. 3.
