Japanese photographer Miyuki Kume has lived in Hong Kong since 1994. Over the years, she has traveled extensively across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories, and the outlying islands, discovering a wealth of daily necessities manufactured in Hong Kong over half a century ago. Her findings were published in the book "Hong Kong Department Store." Each collected item holds forgotten Hong Kong stories, or tales many have never heard.
This series of four sets of postcards, each with a different theme and a collaboration with local concept store Jiksap, features 24 classic daily items. They are perfect for preserving and sharing the beautiful stories of "Made in Hong Kong."
