| Painting Appreciation |
The concept of Pan comes from the Greek mythology of the half-man, half-goat god who is in charge of forests, fields and sheep. Pan is full of love and loves beautiful women. Huyu abandoned the traditional image of half-man, half-goat and simply created the theme of half of the goat's body, allowing the full spring spirit representing the hope of love to be released from the body of "Pan". Pan, who lives freely in the forest, still has ropes tied around his feet, which illustrates that sometimes the freedom we see is actually a kind of bondage when it has no goals or directions.

Huyu is from Taichung. He went to Paris, France, to study design and motion graphics at the Ecole Supérieure de Graphics and the Gobelins School of Graphics. He is now a freelance creator in Paris. His works are often based on myths and creatures, and he likes to use a variety of media and printing techniques to make his works more diverse.
