⭐︎I tried to combine Japanese and Gothic styles⭐︎
Gothic originally appeared in northwestern Europe in the 12th century.
This term refers to an architectural style that continued until the 15th century.
The term is also applied to a style in general of fine art, including painting and sculpture.
In today's popular culture, the word Gothic is characterized by a sense of antiquity, a love of old-fashioned things and images of death, and a penchant for dark spiritual moments.
Gothic fashion originated in Western Europe in the first half of the 15th century.
It was characterised by bright colours, unusual decoration and exaggerated structures.
It is ambiguous and ambiguous, but it also represents darkness, death, ruins, mysticism, heresy, decadence,
In terms of color, it seems that many people express it with the image of "black."
This fox mask is decorated with acanthus leaves, a typical motif in Gothic architecture and Greek sculpture, in relief across the entire mask.
It is said that the reason for wearing a fox mask is to receive supernatural powers, which are said to be given to those possessed by foxes in the past.
Additionally, because foxes love to eat mice, farmers respected them as they helped control pests.
There is also a theory that the god of food was called "Miketsukami," which was corrupted into fox worship.
He is especially considered to be a god who is greatly appreciated by farmers and those involved in the food industry (for prosperity in business).

Weight: approx. 230g (As this is a handmade item, there may be slight individual differences.)
Many male customers have purchased the "OBORO" fox mask so far, and they wear it in a variety of ways, such as placing it on their chin, slung diagonally above their head, or wrapped around a part of their body.
Some customers even display them as interior decorations.
Noh masks in Noh are made small because "the movement from the chin to the neck can be seen, allowing the audience to understand subtle aspects of the emotions."
Because of this, we have been receiving inquiries asking if we make sizes for men, but we currently do not make larger sizes.
In some cases, a smaller size can help condense the expression.
If we made it to a size that would fit a man's face, it would end up being too big for the head when actually worn. Therefore, the fox masks in "Oboro" are only available in sizes for women.
This is the actual mask you can wear. Please check the size of your face.
Since it is made of FRP, it is resistant to light impacts and will not break easily.
Box is not included.
If you need a box, please purchase a box (for fox masks).
Place of Origin/Production Method
Origin: Japan Handmade
*The last photo is of another work, but it shows how to handle the strings on the back of the mask.
Currently, all of Oboro's masks come with a string attached (integral) to the mask.
This is the result of eliminating the annoyance of the strings touching your face behind the mask and pursuing a beautiful appearance.
However, you cannot replace the strings yourself.
In that case, you will need to request a repair.
If you would like the previous model (where the mask and string are not one piece),
Please contact us. Production will begin after your order is placed, but we will deliver the old model.
Production usually takes around 2 weeks.
note that.
