ITEM'S CONDITION: WELL-USABLE
The camera looks enough accurately used before and stored in good environment conditions.
I didn't recognized any holes and cracks at curtains of the shutter (examine item's photos please).
It is in nice condition cosmetically for such age, clean and attractive... just examine item's photos, please.
Chrome coating is complete.
Shutter speeds looks correct.
Viewfinder is clear and sharp.
Rangefinder looks correct.
Modern 135 film cassette fits easy (some old Zorki cameras have the trouble with it).
All functions are available.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
* Frame size 24x36mm.
* Film type: usual type 135 film, can be applied any modern film in usual film cassettes.
* Shutter speeds: old sequence from "Z" to 1/20, 1/30, 1/40, 1/60, 1/100, 1/200, 1/500th of second.
NOTE: Please note: for normal shutter operation, manufacturer (KMZ) recommends changing shutter speeds after the film is wound and the shutter cocked.
Synchronization with flash units is absent, but You can look for additional device which provides shootings with flash.
* Lens mount is M39, same with LTM, You can use a lot of lenses made in the World for Leica type cameras.
* Discrete RF and VF windows.
* Standard conic groove for cable release.
* Tripod socket: 3/8".
* The camera was made at KMZ plant in USSR for export (bilingual) in 1950s.

- Zorki-1 was introduced in 1948 on the base of Leica equipment at Krasnogorsky Optical and Mechanical Factory (KMZ). Leica and Carl Zeiss equipment were brought to USSR after WW2 as reparation. The 39 mm Leica thread mount was preserved, also Zorki-1, as any Zorki rangefinder, is fully compatible with the LTM lenses.
