The piece is finished by applying two different matte glazes: a green one that resembles the colors of a deep forest, and a slightly off-white one. I usually aim to create pieces that are as light and simple in form as possible, but this time I deliberately made the pieces thicker, hoping to create a piece that allows you to enjoy the plump texture of the clay and the weight that fits comfortably in your hand, which is unique to ceramics. The cute shape will add an accent to your dining table. During meals, it can be used for pickles, rolled omelets, and other small Japanese dishes. I use a small electric kiln and an electric potter's wheel at home to make my pottery, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing.
