Each pair of chopsticks is individually finished with a cherry blossom petal pattern using silk screen printing. Most chopsticks sold commercially as dishwasher safe are designed to be resistant to boiling water, and are finished all the way to the tips with a synthetic paint. Hyozaemon products are dishwasher safe and are recommended for use in dishwashers as they are finished with additive-free lacquer. Using a proprietary manufacturing process, these chopsticks have a rubbed lacquer finish that makes them smoother to the touch than dry lacquer chopstick tips. We also offer gift wrapping.
