POLJOT 16 jewels, AU 20 gold-plated case, 1960s, beige dial, goldish hands and markings, mechanism 2409, black print, 28/32 mm dial,/case 18 mm strap needed. The First Moscow Watch Factory (1 MCHZ), the First State Watch Factory. It was founded in 1930. A complete set of equipment for this plant was supplied by the Dueber-Hampden Watch Company from the USA, which was bought out by the USSR through an intermediary organization — Amtorg. From 1930 to 1940, the factory produced 2.4 million pieces of pocket watches. In 1935, he was named after S. M. Kirov, in connection with which, the watches produced at the factory were popularly nicknamed "Kirovka". At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the plant was evacuated to Zlatoust. He resumed work in Moscow in 1942 and produced products for the front. In 1946-1961 he produced watches of the Pobeda brand. The plant was the first in the USSR (in the late 1950s) to start producing mechanical watches with an alarm clock "Polet" (Poljot) "Signal" 2612. In 1961, the plant was awarded the title "Enterprise of Communist Labor". He was awarded the Order of Lenin (1966). It has been reconstructed since the early 1970s. In 1973, he released over 3 million pieces of Poljot watches in 114 design options with various additional devices. Since 1964, the watches of the First Moscow Watch Factory began to be marked with the registered trademark "POLET" ("POLJOT").
