This method is time-consuming and costly but significantly reduces environmental impact and is gentler on the skin. Vegetable-tanned leather contains only natural animal and plant components, free from harmful heavy metals found in other leather types. After vegetable tanning, no further processing is applied. The leather's surface retains its natural texture and luster, appearing soft and luminous. Vegetable-tanned leather will gradually deepen in color with sun exposure, touch, and care. Stains from oil or water are also normal occurrences. Over time, the color will deepen, and the leather will develop a richer sheen, cultivating a unique character and style.
