The starry night - Vincent Van Gogh This piece is one of my absolute favorites; I'd call it a masterpiece. I personally love Van Gogh's *The Starry Night* 🌃. The original painting, created in 1889, is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Has anyone here ever seen the real thing? 🥰 I feel this painting evokes a sense of peace, with the moon, stars, pine trees, and cypress. However, the artist actually painted this while receiving treatment at a psychiatric hospital; it was a view from his room window. I believe many people will have different feelings when they see this painting.
