【Workshop(s)】Tokyo: Create Your One-of-a-Kind Original Shoes in One Day

Welcome to Leather Atelier HaruKa. We are based in our atelier in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo, and hold creator qualifications for Loper, a brand that fuses leathercraft and sneakers, developed by the product design brand proef in Osaka. We offer workshops and custom-made services for shoes and various leather items. Workshops are available for individuals and can be booked by request. Please let us know your preferred dates and times between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM. ⚫︎ Workshop Flow 1: Choose Your Pattern Select the shoe pattern you wish to create. *An additional fee of ¥3,850 will apply if you wish to make tassels as well. 2: Choose Your Sole 3: Size Fitting We offer unisex sizing from 21.5cm to 29cm, in 0.5cm increments. You can try on sample shoes on the day of the workshop and make adjustments. 4: Choose Your Material We offer a wide variety of materials, including domestic leathers and Italian leathers, as well as embossed leathers like crocodile and ostrich, foil-processed, patent, and printed leathers, pony hair, PVC, tweed, ribbon lace, and even antique kimono obi sashes and vintage fabrics. You can choose your preferred combination. 5: Creation Process The main steps are as follows: Cut out the pattern. ↓ Place the pattern on the leather and secure it with masking tape. ↓ Cut the leather along the pattern using leather scissors. ↓ Sew the leather and sole together using thread and needle. ↓ Completion! ⚫︎ Duration Depending on the pattern chosen and individual differences, you can complete one pair of shoes in 3-6 hours. ● Location The workshop will be held at our private atelier, a 7-minute walk from Jiyugaoka Station or Kuhonbutsu Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line and Oimachi Line. It is approximately a 15-minute train ride from Shibuya. The detailed address will be provided after booking. Children are welcome to join. Please contact us if you wish to bring your child.
