**As children of the mountains, pulsing with the island's rhythm, we grow freely on this land.**
Though Taiwan is small, it boasts 268 mountains over 3,000 meters high. From the foothills to the peaks, diverse mountain beauty unfolds. As island dwellers, our growth has been a continuous exploration of this land's facets. This ongoing journey remains a present endeavor, worthy of dedicated time for deep exploration and savoring.
For this tea, we've combined ginger lily, commonly found in Taiwan's foothills and wildlands, with black tea for scenting. We've also added prickly ash, a spice frequently used by Taiwan's indigenous peoples, primarily found in Taiwan's mid-to-low elevation mountain areas, known for its unique fresh aroma. When you taste this tea, the robust black tea base is complemented by a delicate, elegant fragrance, reminiscent of a morning or afternoon stroll in the foothills, with light gently filtering through the trees, creating a fresh and bright atmosphere.

**Collaboration with Paper Cutting Artist Ms. Lin Wen-Chen** to showcase the craft of floral tea making.
In Taiwan, both tea and paper cutting are arts woven from time and heartfelt dedication.
A piece of paper, a single leaf, meticulously sculpted by hand, transforms into the most moving scenery of everyday life.
Paper cutting is an Eastern poetry steeped in time, blooming with cultural brilliance between the blade's edge and paper fibers.
Floral tea is a dialogue between the mountains, the wilderness, and the human heart, carrying the land's language within its aroma.
Using the four key steps of floral tea "scenting" – picking flowers, fermentation, baking, and separating flowers – as our creative axis, we invited paper cutting artist Ms. Lin Wen-Chen to immerse herself in the rhythm of tea making. Drawing inspiration from the busy figures of tea farmers and the moments of stirring tea leaves, she has meticulously cut and etched the essence of artisans conversing with the seasons onto the packaging.

Intertwining tea fragrance and paper shadows, the dedication of tea artisans and the essence of the island's seasons are gently enveloped between your fingertips and lips.
This is more than just a tea; it's a story of Taiwan – about nature, craftsmanship, memory, and culture, flowing gently between people.

**Traditional Eastern Scenting Craft – Smelling the Fragrance, Not Seeing the Flowers**
"Scenting" is a tea-making craft that infuses tea leaves with natural floral aromas. Flowers and tea are layered together, and as time flows, the tea leaves absorb the floral fragrance, ultimately resulting in a uniquely flavored fine tea. Western-style floral teas, on the other hand, are made by blending all ingredients together for brewing.

Tea leaves are mixed with freshly picked flowers. Through capillary action, the tea leaves absorb the floral fragrance. The Ming Dynasty text "The Book of Tea" records that any fragrant flower can be used for scenting. When flowers are in full bloom, a bamboo basket lined with paper is used, divided into two layers. Tea is placed in the upper layer, and flowers in the lower. This process is repeated several times, allowing the tea leaves to acquire the floral scent. After completion, the flowers are removed, leaving only the tea leaves, thus creating floral tea.

We don't need to feel insecure about aesthetics; art can be accessible and ordinary, just as tea appreciation isn't an unattainable pursuit. Both are the results of diligent practice.
The Scented Floral Tea Series is dedicated to those who strive tirelessly in their crafts, and aims to introduce the general public to the exquisite yet accessible beauty of paper cutting and tea-making techniques.
