I'm not entirely sure. It has a remarkable jewelry-like presence, is generously thick, features faceted surfaces, and boasts a brilliant icy luster. There's very little cotton inclusion, with only one spot being more prominent—I've captured it clearly in the photos for you. Will it look more beautiful worn flat or upright? I've found that wearing it upright allows more light to enter the jadeite, enhancing its jewelry-like appeal. I prefer not to use too many words to describe it; please examine the photographs. It is simply incomparable to common pieces. Highly recommended! The images above were taken in natural light by a window. When you receive the item and view it in ample daylight, it will appear just as in my photos. In low light conditions, the color of Guatemalan jadeite can appear muted (you'll notice two tones in the photos; this is characteristic of Guatemalan jadeite.
