It offers a relaxed approach to creating a leather piece, perfect for beginners or anyone looking to craft a heartfelt gift. With most of the preparation done by the studio, completing your leather item becomes remarkably simple. The only techniques you'll learn are 'punching stitching holes with a diamond chisel' and 'professional saddle stitching' – fundamental leather crafting skills. The studio handles all other intricate steps. Using the included ID card holder as an example, we'll pre-apply the protective film, smooth the leather edges, and complete the initial stitching to secure the film. All leather pieces will be assembled and adhered, leaving you to complete the final row of stitches. While it may seem straightforward, our studio's extensive teaching experience indicates that even complete beginners typically require 1.5 to 2.5 hours or more to finish. With regular use, the natural oils from your hands and the friction from daily wear will create a beautiful patina, giving the leather a lustrous, aged appearance. As such, farmers do not prioritize protecting the animals' hides, leading to potential marks from insect bites, scratches, thorns, or branding for free-range cattle. Natural growth lines and wrinkles are also present as the animal matures, and scars may exist from difficult births. Even the process of skinning for meat can leave knife marks. These authentic traces of the animal's life are faithfully preserved in the finished leather product. As the leather ages and develops a rich patina, these original marks, combined with signs of use, contribute to the piece's unique character. 🌞 Color Selection -------------------- The photos display the actual leather colors. Due to variations in lighting and screen settings, slight color discrepancies may occur. Please avoid storing leather in humid environments. If the leather becomes wet, immediately wipe it dry with a clean cloth and let it air dry in a cool, shaded area. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, as this can harden and damage the leather. Once dry, apply leather conditioner to replenish oils and consider using a waterproofing spray to protect against accidental spills. For storage or prolonged periods of non-use, place the item in a dehumidifying cabinet with humidity levels controlled between 50% and 60% to prevent mold, or use a sealed bag with a desiccant.
