Middle East Map Features: The Middle East possesses abundant oil reserves, with production that has been astonishing for decades. However, the impending "peak oil" (the point in time when the maximum rate of petroleum extraction is reached) puts pressure on this region. Within this area, some nations have already adopted nuclear power, and as oil production gradually declines, more countries will follow suit in the future. It is highly likely that other energy sources will also gain prominence, such as the recycling of plastic waste. South Africa Map Features: South Africa's electricity is almost entirely supplied by a single conglomerate, the seventh-largest energy supplier in the world. Approximately 90% of South Africa's energy comes from coal-fired power plants, with a small amount from nuclear power plants and some from green energy sources like wind and hydro power. Due to the conglomerate's scale, it also supplies electricity to nearly half of the African continent.
