This is a large mug, coated with a warm, slightly off-white matte glaze, and finished with an amber glaze that flows around the rim. The rim's color, reminiscent of hard candy or caramel, looks wonderfully delicious. For vessels with a lighter interior, you can also enjoy the natural colors of transparent beverages like black tea or green tea. Generous servings of milk tea, coffee, or café au lait. All processes, from kneading the clay and shaping to bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are done by hand in my home studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and electric potter's wheel. While mass production isn't possible, each piece has its own unique character, and we hope you enjoy their individual personalities. To address this, we apply a waterproof treatment to all pottery before it is sent to you. Pottery that has undergone this treatment does not require initial waterproofing at home. You can use it immediately after a light wash upon arrival. Items already treated will be shipped within 3 days. Those requiring treatment after your order will be shipped within 5 days. - Waterproofing agent name: Flip Coat - Effects: Improved waterproofing and moisture resistance, reduced penetration of oils and acids, reduced staining and soiling, prevention of cracking due to freezing, prevention of mold and algae growth, prevention of liquid seeping into cracks. - Features: Water-soluble, colorless and transparent, odorless, non-flammable, mildly alkaline.
