Matryoshka with nested wooden dolls.
These are 5 slightly strange figures.
(I imagine the Japanese monsters Umibozu and Namikozo.)
We thought of a doll that would go well with a monochrome or fashionable room.
The smallest child is a penguin.
I painted on a Russian-made plain wood matryoshka with black paint and a hot iron.
We mainly use paints that are compliant with the Food Sanitation Act and have a transparent feel that takes advantage of the wood grain.
While taking advantage of the rustic wood texture, it is sanded to 3000 grit and finished with oil (linseed oil).
*Size: Height 11cm Width 5cm
*Materials: lime tree, water-based stain, Acrylic paint
*When exposed to moisture, the wood may expand and become difficult to close. Please do not store the top and bottom separately.
*If you find it difficult to open or close, hold it sideways in front of your chest and open it slowly without twisting.
*There are small parts. Do not give to children under 3 years old.
