Sanyu's "Four Nude Women" uses golden skin and thick brushstrokes to form the interlaced postures of four female bodies, three of which are connected and one of which is in a corner. The composition fluctuates between intimacy and independence, the lines are rough but soft, and the rhythm is slow but delicate. The background is decorated with Chinese auspicious symbols of fortune, wealth, and longevity. The four nude women's heads and feet overlap each other. The lines of three of them form the outline of their bodies and are closely connected, while the other one is in its own direction, which is a major feature of Sanyu's works.
