A plump vase made of white crystalline glaze

White clay with a rough texture typical of ceramic clay that allows the color of the glaze to stand out. A crystalline glaze with a pale green base and bluish white crystals. By combining the two, I created a plump, round vase. I have an electric potter's wheel and a small electric furnace at home, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, carving, drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. We aimed to create a vase with soft curves and form, a clean appearance, and a rustic, calming atmosphere that is characteristic of pottery. This glaze is rich in flavor, with crystal formation and color changing depending on the thickness. This firing produced beautiful white crystals that looked like a snowy field, with a hint of blue, resulting in a beautiful finish. Please enjoy it from various angles. Ceramics are naturally absorbent, so we will apply a waterproofing agent to prevent water from getting into the material. We have confirmed that by using this waterproofing agent, no water will seep out for approximately 40 hours, however, there is a possibility that a small amount of evaporated water may come out from the bottom, making the area feel slightly damp. If this bothers you, you may be able to use the product safely by placing a cloth mat underneath. The item you receive will be the same as the product image. To avoid damaging your table as much as possible, the contact surface will be sanded down before delivery. Using various glazes and clays, I create a wide variety of pottery in different colors and shapes, searching for the best combinations.
