🙃 Time: 09:00-18:00 with a one-hour break in between. The course spans two full days, totaling 16 actual class hours. (The actual class time may conclude earlier or slightly later depending on each student's crafting progress.) a. Weekend Class Schedule: Held on consecutive Saturday and Sunday of the same week. If the form indicates July 27 (Sat), the other class day will be July 28 (Sun). b. Weekday Class Schedule: Held on a Tuesday and Thursday. If the form indicates August 1 (Tue), the other class day will be August 3 (Thu). 🙃 Fee: NT$8320 (Includes all materials, tools, handouts, and yarn required for the class.) 🙃 Course Content: 1. What is Knitting? - Knitting Techniques and Types: Chunky knit, fine knit - Yarn Introduction: Two-ply, single-ply yarn, metallic yarn 2. Introduction to Knitting Tools: Flat knitting machine, crochet hook 3. Flat Knitting Machine Operation Introduction 4. Flat Knitting Machine Operations: 1x1 rib stitch, double-sided full needle, decreasing stitches 5. Stitch Count Calculation 6. Advanced Operation Techniques: Turn stitches, tubular knitting 7. Steaming and Blocking Demonstration and Practice 8. Project Creation 🙃 Finished Projects: You will complete two small accessory projects, such as a scarf, neck warmer, hat, or small bag, based primarily on the student's design. Several knitted swatches from your practice sessions will also be yours to take home. 🙃 Extended Course: The 16-hour course includes all yarn and material fees. If you wish to continue for an additional 48 hours after completing the 16-hour course, you can pay the difference to extend for another 32 hours. The 48-hour course costs NT$23800 and includes a 3.5-hour mending and darning class.
