About the Author: Author: Mr. Yu Huayu Born in 1980, he has never forgotten the mysterious hand-thrown pottery he encountered in junior high school. After retiring from the army, he went to Yingge alone and successively studied under two teachers, Wu Guorong and Wu Jiancai, who laid the foundation for his throwing and firing of pottery. After setting up a workshop, he carefully developed and won the Taiwan Golden Pot Award Ceramic Design Competition Cultural and Creative Expo Gold Award and the Fucheng Taiwan Craft Cultural and Creative Promotion Association Excellence Award. He is now a contemporary Taiwanese young ceramic artist. Teacher Yu Huayu has spent more than 20 years mastering the properties of various types of clay, integrating them into his own creative work, combining tradition with modernity, and developing the Yaobian Zhiye series, the Rock and Mineral series, and the Purple Clay Cloud and Smoke series of ceramic works.
